Guest Post: A Meaningful Visit from Wing 410

A reflection on a visit from the Royal Canadian Air Force's Wing 410 on October 18, 2024, from Brooke, Recreation Programmer, Perley Health:

I thought it was amazing to see members of Wing 410 come visit Veterans of our Canadian Air Force. The room was filled with smiles as they exchanged stories and reminisced. Some of these Air Force members were meeting our Veterans for the first time, but some were reuniting with men and women they had previously worked alongside. It was not only meaningful to our Veteran residents, but I could see the impact and meaning it held for the members of Wing 410. It was a simple gathering with coffee and donuts brought in by members of Wing 410, that allowed deep and meaningful connections to take place between generations of Canadian Air Force Members. These are the moments that matter.
