We are now accepting applications for volunteers in all areas. Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) Protocols currently in place include:
- Mandatory vaccination for all staff, students, volunteers and contracted service providers
- Provision of clean, procedural masks and face shields
- Cohorting of volunteers to resident units
- Extensive IPAC training and monitoring for all volunteers and caregivers.
Thank you very much for your interest in volunteering at Perley Health. Learn more about how our volunteers help improve the well-being of the people we serve and review the full list of volunteer opportunities available. Ready to join our team? Please complete an application form (below) to tell us more about you.
Only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted. At the interview, we will provide a letter so you can complete a Police Record Check for Service with the Vulnerable Sector. Volunteers under 18 years of age are required to complete an offence declaration, signed by a parent or guardian. You will complete a Tuberculosis Screening Assessment and we will conduct references checks. Please note, all new volunteers must attend a 3.5-hour orientation session and commit to a minimum three months of volunteer service (except for the Summer Youth Program in July and August).
Note: at this time, all applications from youth volunteers (13-18 years old), will be directed to the Summer Youth Program.
