Valentines for Vets Brighten the Day for Perley Health Residents

On the morning of February 13, Perley Health was honoured to welcome representatives from Veterans Affairs Canada as part of the annual Valentines for Vets tradition. Taoufik Ouchagour, Program Advisor, Commemoration, and Jane Hicks, Director General, Service Delivery and Program Management, visited our home to personally deliver heartfelt Valentine's cards to our Veteran residents.

The Valentines—created by caring individuals from across the country—serve as a tangible reminder that the service and sacrifices of Canada's Veterans are never forgotten. Each card delivered brought smiles, sparked conversations, and helped brighten what is always a meaningful day at Perley Health.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Veteran Affairs Canada for continuing this thoughtful initiative, and to every Canadian who took the time to craft or write a message of gratitude. Gestures like these deeply resonate with our Veteran community and reinforce the spirit of remembrance and connection.

At Perley Health, we remain committed to ensuring Veterans feel honoured, supported, and celebrated—not only on Valentine's Day, but every day.
