Musician

Permanent Full-Time

The Musician will be responsible for the planning and implementation of music programs that are appropriate to the social, emotional, spiritual, physical and cognitive needs of seniors.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • You will possess excellent musical skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills. You must be independent, organized and be able to work as part of a team.
  • You will have the ability to create and foster therapeutic relationships, and lead large and small group music programs.
  • Knowledge of a variety of musical styles and appropriate repertoire for seniors is required, as is an ability to sing and play various instruments and the ability to perform on stage.
  • You must possess a Bachelor of Music and experience working with seniors is an asset.
