Congratulations to the Perley Health Family & Friends Council Executive who were honoured February 3, 2022 with
Ontario's June Callwood Outstanding Achievement Award for Voluntarism! The FFC Executive are dedicated and tireless advocates for our residents, and their loved ones. Their dedication has never been more apparent than during the pandemic, as they've displayed exceptional leadership, advocated for families, and supported communication efforts from the Ministry of Long-Term Care and Perley Health management. The council brings lived experience, heartfelt compassion, and an understanding of the complex challenges of long-term care. They work diligently to guide Perley Health towards a better model of care and to support families through the difficult transition to long-term and end-of-life care. We are so proud and grateful for these exceptional individuals!
