Adult Day Program at Perley Health
Adult Day Program Temporarily Closed Until July 21, 2025
The Adult Day Program has temporarily closed and will re-open on Monday, July 21, 2025.
The Adult Day Program is currently operated by a third party. Upon re-opening, Perley Health will directly deliver this short-stay community program. The program will continue in the respite house bungalow located at 1750 Russell Road, Ottawa, Ontario.
We thank our community members for adapting to this change in service. We appreciate the community's support and patience during this time of transition.

- Note that there is dedicated parking the near entrance to Respite House. Standard parking rates apply.
The Adult Day Program at Perley Health
The Adult Day Program at Perley Health is open to seniors 55 years and older living with early to moderate stage Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias. Clients come to the program from their own homes to enjoy a day of stress-free socialization and fun while family caregivers have a few hours off.
The program closed at the start of the pandemic, in accordance with the Ontario government directive and re-opened July 2021 as a pilot project in the Guest House. On April 27, 2022, the program returned to its location in the main building of Perley Health.
A typical day includes:
- Social Time
- Activities like games, handicrafts and gardening
- Exercise program
- 3-course lunch
- Occasional outings around the National Capital Region
Program Information:
- The Day Program access is through the Main Entrance of Perley Health.
- This daytime program operates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.
- The program is closed Wednesday.
- All Perley Health protocols and testing requirements must be followed.
