What A Difference A Day Makes
In 2023, Perley Health launched an awareness and hiring campaign, showcasing a rendition of "What a Difference a Day Makes."
The campaign not only aims to personify the organization's dedication to quality of life but also emphasizes that, whether experiencing Perley Health for an hour or for years and decades, every day can make a significant difference.
The videotaping of singers and testimonials involved ten staff, five volunteers, three independent Senior Living tenants, and four residents. Supporting interviews were provided by an equally representative mix of the diversity of Perley Health: a new Canadian from the Philippines who progressed from volunteer to housekeeping lead; a former resident of the surrounding neighbourhood who moved in a decade ago; and a former student intern who completed her PSW training and now leads the assisted living team.
This heart-warming initiative involves residents, volunteers, staff, and Senior Living apartment tenants, sharing the positive impacts they contribute each day and unveiling the secret behind Perley Health's exceptional care.
