Project Manager, Corporate Planning & Implementation
(14+ Month Contract)
Full-Time
Under the direction of the Director, Strategy, Partnerships and Growth & Director, Quality and Interprofessional Care, and in support of Perley Health's Strategic Plan, the Project Manager, Corporate Planning and Implementation is responsible for:
- Supporting various corporate-wide projects that contribute to the advancement of the Perley Health's Strategic Plan, Mission and Vision
- Supporting annual corporate planning activities, including enterprise risk management
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of the Director, Strategy, Partnerships and Growth, lead end-to-end project management for a new intergenerational childcare center, including budgeting, resource allocation, and regulatory compliance, while ensuring quality and safety standards are in place aligned with PH existing policies.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, collaborate with stakeholders, and establish clear goals, including the development of an operational model and research collaboration with the Centre of Excellence.
- Utilizes project management methodologies to define and maintain oversight of project scope, budget, and timeline
- Proactively anticipates future considerations and risks, such as Ministry requirements, and ensures appropriate preparation while flagging project risks and issues with the Perley Health Senior Management team.
- Create policies, procedures, and forms for intergenerational programming, and design change management strategies, external proposals, and funding applications as required.
- Lead intergenerational programs at Perley Health in collaboration with partner organizations
- Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource needs
- Lead/support cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals
- Develop and manage stakeholder engagement plans
- Identify project risks, suggest mitigation strategies, maintain thorough project documentation, report progress to leadership and stakeholders, and implement change management and sustainability plans
- Facilitate corporate planning activities aligned with existing framework
- Review KPIs and dashboards to monitor progress toward corporate objectives, and make recommendations for adjustments as needed
- Ensure that corporate planning efforts are aligned with Perley Health's strategy and goals
- Serve as the primary system administrator for the Cascade Strategy Software platform, acting as a subject matter expert to coach users when needed on the use of Cascade
- Collaborate closely with leadership to translate the operating plan into actionable objectives within the Cascade software
- Support management of the Risk Registry, maintaining an accurate and up-to-date repository of risk information
- Maintain robust risk assessment processes and collaborate with leadership team to identify mitigation strategies
- Foster a culture of risk awareness and proactively engage stakeholders in identifying and addressing potential risks
- Prepare comprehensive reports and risk analysis for senior leadership and regulatory compliance
- Support efforts to continuously improve risk management practices across the organization
- Other duties as required
Education & Experience:
- Master's degree in Business, Health Care Administration or Project Management Professional Certification required.
- 5+ years professional experience, including experience in project management in healthcare related fields.

- Superior analytical, written and oral communication skills required
- Excellent interpersonal skills required to collaborate with external stakeholders and communicate with staff at all levels in the organization with tact, diplomacy and respect for confidentiality.
- Ability to use word processing and spread sheet software in a Windows environment.
- Ability to conduct analysis, create business cases and manage projects.
